Luviasun

Weather telemetry terminal

Luviasun

An open-source weather forecast that runs without a server of its own, never shares your IP or personal data with third-party apps, and refuses every decorative cloud, sun and snow animation in favour of plain 90s industrial graphics.

No server

Forecasts are requested straight from the device to the open weather endpoint. Luviasun operates no backend of its own — there is nothing in the middle to log you.

No tracking

No analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no advertising identifier, no session id. The app ships with zero measurement code.

No third party

Your IP, coordinates and usage are never handed to an ad network, profile broker or partner app. Cache stays in local Hive storage.

Modules

Weather

01

Temperature, apparent scale, humidity, precipitation, wind velocity and bearing, visibility, cloud layers, sunrise and sunset index.

Map

02

Plain position tiles in absolute light or absolute dark. Pan, look, leave.

Calendar

03

The entire year as a single grid with elapsed, remaining and current day states.

Arcade

04

A snake engine built out of rectangles, scored locally and stored locally.

Binary contrast space

Two themes exist and nothing between them. Absolute dark pins the canvas to #000000 so OLED sub-pixels drop to zero voltage; absolute light flips the relationship exactly. No mid grey, no pastel, no tint.
